Modernization of a legacy identity verification platform to improve validation success rates, reduce operational costs, streamline applicant workflows, and establish a scalable foundation for responsive experiences, automation, and future AI-enabled capabilities.

This product is the central hub for background screening clients, tools, and integrations. While some sub-products seamlessly integrate with the core platform, Background Screening Services and extensions should be seen as both standalone solutions and components of the main system. The founders had a great vision, but the current system is outdated with a developer-designed, old-fashioned interface. Though it fosters customer loyalty, its outdated look and steep learning curve hinder new user navigation and the ability to attract new clients.

A thorough review of the flagship platform was carried out, analyzing its individual components to identify strengths and weaknesses. We then performed an in-depth audit of the content and usability to highlight areas for improvement. With a comprehensive understanding of these aspects, we developed a strategy to resolve the key user experience pain points. Finally, we designed the interface focused on eliminating usability barriers, making the platform as user-friendly and accessible as possible.
